Severe Storm Outlook For This Afternoon - Wed., May 29, '19

The National Weather Service (NWS) Storm Prediction Center (SPC) in Norman, Oklahoma has issued their storm outlook for the remainder of the day in our area.

There is good news in this outlook, in that the risk areas are pushing further east and should be out of the area by late afternoon.  In addition the intensity of the risk is dropping.

Having said that, it's important to know that any county shaded in green, yellow or orange still faces a risk of severe weather over the next few hours.

Those counties with no color shading are in the clear.

Here's the map for the remainder of today:

In additional good news, after today the severe weather threat will diminish almost to zero!  Therefore, the current outlook between Thursday, May 30, 2019 and Wednesday, June 5, 2019 shows NO threat of severe weather in our area.  Good news indeed!
