*Severe Thunderstorm Watch* - Wed., May 29, '19

The National Weather Service (NWS) Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has issued a *Severe Thunderstorm Watch* for portions of the area.  Folks in the watch should be prepared for warnings for very large hail and damaging wind gusts during severe thunderstorms.  In addition there is a threat for tornadoes and tornadoes can develop quickly during severe thunderstorms.

Folks in and near the watch area should be on alert for severe weather, this includes the city of Wichita Falls, Texas.

Other communities in the watch include but are not limited to Graham, Olney, Jacksboro, Henrietta, Vashti, Joy, Antelope, Bowie, Nocona, Montague, Waurika and others.

   URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED
   Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 289
   NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   1005 AM CDT Wed May 29 2019

   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
     Northwestern Arkansas
     Extreme southeastern Kansas
     Parts of soutthwestern and central Missouri
     Southern and eastern Oklahoma
     A small part of north Texas

   * Effective this Wednesday morning and afternoon from 1005 AM
     until 500 PM CDT.

   * Primary threats include...
     Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5
       inches in diameter likely
     Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
     A tornado or two possible

   SUMMARY...Clusters of storms will likely increase in
   coverage/intensity through the morning and into the afternoon in a
   corridor from southern Oklahoma northeastward into Missouri.  The
   storm environment is sufficient for embedded supercells and
   organized clusters capable of producing damaging winds and large
   hail.  An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

   The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55
   statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles west southwest
   of Durant OK to 30 miles west northwest of Vichy MO. For a complete

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
   favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
   Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
   weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
   warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
   tornadoes.

   NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   840 AM CDT Wed May 29 2019

   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
     North central Texas

   * Effective this Wednesday morning and afternoon from 840 AM
     until 100 PM CDT.

   * Primary threats include...
     Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events
       to 2 inches in diameter possible
     Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

   SUMMARY...An organized cluster of storms may persist through late
   morning while moving east-northeastward across north Texas.  The
   storm environment appears favorable to sustain the cluster, and
   maintain a threat for damaging winds and hail for the next few
   hours.

   The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50
   statute miles east and west of a line from 30 miles west of Sherman
   TX to 55 miles southwest of Mineral Wells TX. For a complete
