The Next 48-Hours In Our Area Could Be Active With Severe Storms - Mon., May 27, '19

The National Weather Service (NWS) Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has released it's outlook for the next two days and it appears active in our area.

Here is the outlook for today, Tuesday, May 28, 2019:

Today has the potential of being a much more active day.  Even though the highest level of outlook is SLIGHT RISK (2) the potential is there for severe weather activity including large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes.

In addition, here is the map for significant severe hail 2" and greater in diameter:

And, here is the outlook for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29, 2019:

Much more widespread activity is possible on Wednesday with all severe weather hazards possible.  In addition significant severe weather is possible on Wednesday for a much larger portion of the area:
