ENHANCED Severe Weather Threat Risk Today; Sun., June 23, 2019

The National Weather Service (NWS) Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has released their Severe Weather Threat Risk for today, Sunday, June 23, 2019.

Let's take a look:





ENHANCED RISK (3) for a majority of the area including the following counties/cities:

  • Wichita (Wichita Falls)
  • Wilbarger (Vernon)
  • Baylor (Seymour)
  • Archer (Archer City)
  • Young (Graham)
  • Throckmorton (Throckmorton)
  • Clay (Henrietta)
  • Jack (Jacksboro)
  • Montague (Nocona)
  • Hardeman (Quanah)
  • Foard (Crowell)
  • Knox (Benjamin)
  • Tillman (Frederick)
  • Comanche (Lawton)
  • Cotton (Walters)
  • Jefferson (Waurika)
  • Stephens (Duncan)

Timing:  12n CDT - 900p CDT

Severe weather threats possible:

  • Isolated Tornadoes
  • Very Large Hail (up to Baseballs)
  • Damaging Thunderstorm Winds/Gusts (up to 80mph)
