Today Through Monday Could Bring Heavy Rain Which Could Raise Rivers, Creeks and Streams...Again

The National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Prediction Center (WPC) has issued their heavy rain/flooding outlook for today through Monday in our area.

Here's the map for the heavy rain/flooding risk levels in your home county:

The area is divided into a low chance of heavy rain and flooding in southern parts of our area (shaded in light green) including the following counties:

  • Haskell
  • Throckmorton
  • Young
  • Jack
  • Montague

Other area of the area have a medium chance of heavy rain and flooding.  Here are the counties (shaded in light yellow) are:

  • Wichita (included Wichita Falls)
  • Archer
  • Clay
  • Wilbarger
  • Baylor
  • Hardeman
  • Foard
  • Knox
  • Childress
  • Cottle
  • King
  • Stonewall
  • Harmon
  • Jackson
  • Greer
  • Kiowa
  • Tillman
  • Comanche
  • Cotton
  • Stephens
  • Jefferson
