Severe Weather Possible/Likely Today Wed., July 10, 2019

The National Weather Service (NWS) Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has released their Severe Weather Threat Risk for today, Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

The overall threat risk for today is:
SLIGHT RISK (2)
MARGINAL RISK (1)

What?
Severe weather is possible if not likely today over all of the area.  The severe weather risk elements include, but are not limited to:

  • Large Hail
  • Damaging Thunderstorm Winds/Gusts


Where?
All of the are may experience severe weather.  There are two levels of risk and this is how it breaks down by county/city:

  • Childress (Childress)
  • Cottle (Paducah)

  • Jefferson (Waurika)
  • Stephens (Duncan)
  • Comanche (Lawton)
  • Kiowa (Hobart)
  • Greer (Mangum)

  • Montague (Montague, Nocona, Bowie)
